Finally

It feels like Summer.
The temperatures are hot, Dannika is out of school, Summer activities have started, and life is about as peachy as it can get.
Our "week 3" countdown treat was a trip to Sunshine Farm's ice cream stand in Sherborn, MA.
They have some of the best home made ice cream, and they have TONS of flavors.
It's always a special treat for us.
Dannika got their "moose tracks" flavor in honor of Nick (it's his favorite flavor there).

For the next two weeks, we have a house guest staying with us, and I've decided to call her my "temporary nanny".
Meet Emilee.
She's a senior at MIT, getting ready to go to her final OCS increment in July to become a Marine Officer.
I know her through the NROTC program in Boston through Nick.
When I found out she was planning on "couch surfing" for two weeks before she left for the summer, I offered her a room and a 4 year old roommate (Dannika).
I'm glad she came!
It's nice to have another adult around the house to talk to, and the kids love her.
And she brought Dannika this gigantic lollipop...
Definitely won her over.

We went on a play date yesterday at my friend Rachel's house.

These next 3 photos of Mattis' face are priceless...

Dannika felt like such a "cool kid" being the oldest one at her little brother's play date.

Ball pit!
Seriously...this play date had everything.

Little man chowed down on some watermelon.

The day was exhausting.
She fell asleep while doing her "sketches" last night in her playroom.

And lastly...
Dannika's first official dance photos are in...
So cute!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!

Did You Know...

That most onesies for babies have that wide neck so that you can pull the onesie down the baby when they have a diaper blow out?!?!?
Do you know how many times a day I am trying to roll up a onesie in the back to try and avoid the inevitable poop from smearing all over my child's head?!
Is seriously thought they were made like that cause babies have abnormally large heads (or maybe it's just my big headed kids).
I read this cool little tip from a from a friend on her Facebook page.
My mind is blown.

Murphy's Law of Military Wife Life

You know the whole "Murphy's Law" of military wife life?

"If anything can go wrong during a deployment/separation, it will go wrong?"

I've become victim to that law just about every single time my husband has had to deploy and/or leave for training for a period of time.

My worst case so far?
I once had a plumbing issue while he was gone for training, and when we came home, they (the plumbers) had ripped apart my daughter's nursery, and had jack hammered a gigantic hole in the floor of her nursery into the foundation of our house to find a pipe that was disintegrating under our home...UNDER our home!!
We had sewage that backed up into our washing machine.....while I had laundry in it.
It took weeks for me to get the smell out of the washing machine.
Let me just add to this story...
We eventually had to rip up ALL of our nice hardwood floors, tear down walls, and rip apart our fireplace because of severe water damage to our entire house, and we lived out of the master bedroom for about a month.
Yes...all this happened while my husband was in Bridgeport, CA doing cold weather training.

This time, he hasn't even left yet.
He leaves on Sunday for 8 weeks to attend a school in Virginia.
We were excited for him to have all this time off during the holidays before he left us.
I had a lot of things that I wanted to do as a family.
Of course those plans were put to an immediate halt when I came down with a stomach flu on Christmas Day.
As soon as I got over it (2 days after Christmas), Nick got it, and was laid out in bed for 2 days.
Just when we thought things were going to be ok, BOOM!
BOTH of my kids AND I woke up with a cough, stuffy noses, and a fever.
Because our son is so young, he hasn't been handling it as well, so we took him to see the doctor, and it turns out he has RSV.
So pretty much since Christmas day, our entire family has been sick.

Sick child #1
Notice the watery eyeballs, and red cheeks....yeah....that's fever, plus ear ache (which we are taking her in for today), congestion and coughing.

Sick child #2
You can't tell in this pic, but his nose and upper lip are covered in baby mucus and snot, puffy red eyes....that's the fever, the congested hacking.... (sad face)

Sick child #2 with awesome husband #1 (ok, I only have 1 husband ;) )

Our son took a turn for the worse last night, and we are currently in the middle of a snowstorm.
I woke up this morning and decided we needed to take him to the ER.
Poor little man can barely breathe, and his fever spiked to an all time high in the past 3 days.
Too bad our street has not been snow plowed yet, and we can't get out of our driveway yet until one of us (my husband) gets outside to snow blow/shovel.
Seriously...this is a "living up north" problem!

My husband leaves on Sunday, and I am PRAYING to God that our children are feeling better by then!

How I Got My Baby To Sleep

My son's been a pretty decent night time sleeper.
At around 3 1/2 weeks old, he was sleeping roughly 4-5 hour stretches at night
Now, at 11 weeks old, he's been sleeping 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours through the entire night without waking up!!
I also mentioned several times throughout my blog that my daughter was also a great sleeper.
In fact, she slept better and she was sleeping through the night sooner than our son.

With our son, I read "The Happiest Baby On the Block" and "Babywise".
I mostly followed the principles in "The Happiest Baby On The Block", and it's worked for us.
The 5 S's are a lifesaver, in my opinion at least (if you care).
Basically the "5 S's" is a method taught in the "Happiest Baby" book.
I'll explain each one, and how we used it to work for us to get Mattis to sleep through the night.

Also, I am not an "attachment parent", so I never co slept with my son.
He was always in a bassinet in our room, and by the time he was 4 weeks old, we put him in his own crib.
I like to establish their crib as "their place to sleep" early on in life.
Again, my opinion, and just what works for our family and me.
And let me just add again that my son is sleeping 8 hours a night at 11 weeks.

Again...you have to read the book to completely understand each of the "5 S's"

Swaddling
It bothers me when new parents tell me that their babies hate to be swaddled.
No, they don't hate to be swaddled.
Being swaddled is the most natural state for a newborn.
You are just incorporating the swaddle wrong into your baby's routine.
I am no expert, but this is just what I figured out with my son.
I thought he hated to be swaddled too, but it turns out, it's a lot more than just swaddling the baby.
Also, google the "batwing swaddle".
It will change your life.

We started swaddling him at night in the "batwing swaddle".

Side/Stomach Position
Obviously, it's not safe to put your baby on his/her stomach to sleep at night, so we chose the side position.
We rolled up a blanket and tucked it behind his back so that he would be on his side (while in the swaddle) to sleep at night.
This also helps your baby from the back of their head getting flat from laying on their back all the time.
Shushing sounds
We downloaded a white noise app on my iPad called "Sleep Bug", and we keep it on the "white noise" sound all night long in his nursery.

When he's really crazy and fussy, I've turned on my blow dryer, and it instantly calms him down.
I've heard of people turning on vacuum cleaners.
Read the book.
You'll get it.

Swinging
For our night time routine, we don't really rock or swing him unless he is really fussy.
If he is having "one of those nights", we rock him in our arms while making "shushing" sounds.
Oh, and he is swaddled while we do so.
It calms him down, and right before he is about to fall asleep, we put him down.
I don't like letting him fall asleep in my arms before I put him down because I wanted him to self soothe himself to sleep.

Sucking
As soon as we lay him down in his sleep before he is totally asleep, we give him his pacifier.
It soothes him and calms him down.
He falls asleep within minutes.

You really have to read the book to totally understand all these methods.
The book is really amazing, and while reading it, I had a TON of "aha" moments.
These 5 techniques are mostly used for colicky babies, but I used it on my son to sleep at night.
It's worked like a charm for us.

Seriously though...
He really has become "the Happiest Baby on the Block"....

The "Push" Gift

If you have children, did you receive a "push" gift from the father of your child?

What is a "push" gift, you ask?

Here is the Wikipedia definition...
A push present (also known as a push gift, baby mama gift or baby bauble) is a present a father gives to the mother to mark the occasion of her giving birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room. The giving of push presents has supposedly grown in the United States in recent years. A push gift is any type of present loved ones give to a woman who has recently given birth to a child.

Here are my thoughts on this...
I spent nine months of my life carrying a life inside of me.
I spent nine months caring for my body in order to provide the safest and healthy womb for our baby.
I spent nine months gaining all kinds of weight in order to make sure our baby was healthy.
In those nine months, my body did things that I could have never imagined before having children.
My stomach stretched.
My hips widened.
At the end of those nine months, I pushed a 7-8lbs human life out of an area of my body that I would rather not think could expel something so large...

Heck yeah, I deserve a push gift!!!
(Did I mention one of my love languages is receiving gifts?)

Before I start getting "hated" on for being ungrateful, selfish, shallow, and/or whatever other adjective you come up with to judge me, let me give you something to think about.
You don't think it's shallow to receive gifts every year on a day that you were born many, many years ago (also called a birthday)?

Honestly though, I wouldn't have even thought of a push gift if it weren't for my awesome husband.
I'm also not an ungrateful person.
I don't expect anything extravagant or expensive.
I just like the fact that my husband thoughtfully picked something out for me.

When my daughter was born, he got me a ring adorned with tiny rubies (her birthstone) and diamonds....again...I didn't ask for it, he thoughtfully picked it out.

For my son, I had been eyeballing this ring...
And, he got it for me!
If you're a Justin Timberlake fan, it's the same ring in his "Mirrors" video.
I absolutely love it.

I'm also absolutely in love with my husband, and the thought he put into it.
I'm so grateful that he appreciates the work it takes for a woman to bring a child into this world.
I also love that every time I wear my "push" gifts, I think of all I went through to bring my own two children into the world.
I still smile when I wear my daughter's ring, and it takes me back to that day four years ago, when we welcomed her into this crazy world.

See? There's a lot more meaning to it now than just some "silly gift".
:-)

Another Happy Update

I've been up since 530 am, and it's a Saturday.
I'm not up because of the baby.
My husband has to work today, and usually, he takes over "parental duties" on Saturday mornings.
It's a day I look forward to ALL week long, but since he's not here, I figured I'd get my butt out of bed early, make some coffee, have some breakfast, and just enjoy the peacefulness of the house before the kids are awake.

I am almost 9 weeks post partum, and I am ridiculously giddy with my post pregnancy weight loss progress.
I bought a ball dress yesterday in a size 4....yes...a size 4!!!!
My normal pre pregnancy size is usually a 2 in ball gowns and a 4 in jeans.
I wrote an earlier blog post (that I can't seem to find right now to link to) that my goal was to be in a size 4 ball gown for the Marine Corps Ball this year.
I also said that I didn't think that was a realistic goal, but I am happy to say that I comfortably fit into a 4!!!!!!
I still have a long ways to go as far as toning up some of my loose skin on my belly, and losing about 10 more pounds to be exactly where I was at, but I'm really excited that all my hard work is paying off!

As y'all know already, after I had my daughter, it took me nearly a year to lose the baby weight.
So after I had this baby, I was determined to make sure it did not take me as long.
Just like most women, I used pregnancy as an excuse to indulge a little more than I normally would.
Although I was a LOT more mindful about indulging during this pregnancy than my first, it doesn't mean that I made great choices all the time when it came to my sweet cravings.
I gained a ridiculous amount of unnecessary weight with my first pregnancy.
I didn't gain nearly as much with baby 2, but I still did gain a little more than I would have liked.

So here are two things that have been working for me (in case y'all are wondering)...

1) NUTRITION...DUH!
My husband and I don't eat pasta, bread or rice...NONE (unless we are doing a cheat meal or out to eat at a restaurant)! Our lunches and dinners are packed with protein and vegetables. I hate the idea that people think that we HAVE to have a starch with meals. NO YOU DON'T! I'll add quinoa to a meal if I'm really missing having that starch with a meal. Our meals are packed with protein and vegetables. Also, since I'm breastfeeding, for breakfast, I eat a bowl of oatmeal to help with my milk supply. My diet really didn't change much from before or during pregnancy, but I cut out all the "pregnancy cravings" that I gave in to during pregnancy. Healthy eating is really just a way of life. It's not something you can just do to lose weight, then go back to nasty eating habits.

I also enjoy a cup of coffee every morning :-)
My favorite K-Cup right now is Donut Shop's "coconut mocha" flavor.

People also get the wrong idea when I say that my husband and I eat super healthy and clean.
They think our meals are bland, tasteless, etc.
So not true!!
I usually take any recipe I find online, and swap out ingredients for healthier ones.
For instance, I made this stuffed acorn squash from Marshall's Abroad.
Instead of using chorizo (which can be really high in fat), I replaced it with chicken sausage (they also make chicken chorizo at Whole Foods).
I also replaced the gorgonzola cheese for a light feta cheese.
It was delicious!
My husband LOVED it, and when he took leftovers to work the next day, his coworkers were all jealous.

My husband NEVER eats breakfast.
Usually because he is rushing out the door to go to work at some ridiculous hour in the morning (4am-5am).
I am a strong believer that if you don't eat breakfast, you're setting yourself up for failure for the rest of the day.
I found this cool recipe on pinterest where you put eggs in a muffin tin, bake them, and you have mini omelets!
I scrambled a dozen eggs, poured them in a greased muffin tin, put a little handful of chopped spinach and mushrooms in each tin, and topped each one with some goat cheese.
I popped them in the oven for 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
I put them in individual ziplock bags and put them in the freezer.
Every morning, my husband makes his coffee, grabs a mini omelet from the freezer and goes to work.
Once he gets to work, he can microwave his breakfast and eat!

Also, I bought some really nice and expensive non stick pans.
It's so worth the money because I use half the olive oil (or whatever oil) I used to use (with my old pans) when sauteing or cooking different foods.
Olive oil is a super healthy fat to add to your dishes, but at the end of the day, it's still extra fat that you're adding.
You can still have it in your dish for the healthy aspect (and so that your food doesn't stick to your pan), but it's even better in moderation!
Most people tend to add so much oil to their food when cooking because their food keeps sticking to their pans.
Invest in a good non stick pan!

2) Work Out Routine
I work out everyday. I know a lot of people tell me I need a day of rest, and I totally agree. I choose to do an active rest day. Usually that means I either go on a really slow and short jog. My hour or two each day that I make for myself to work out is my stress reliever. It's the time of day when I can clear my thoughts and get a work out in at the same time which is why I don't have a "day off". I run, spin, and Crossfit. I'm looking forward to joining a box when my son can be put in childcare at the gym.
I'm also blessed to have a husband who is as passionate about fitness as I am, and it makes it a lot more fun when we can motivate each other.
"A family that runs together, stays together."

If you enjoy running, you can't live without a BOB jogging stroller. Seriously.
This stroller is God's gift to mommies and daddies who love to run.
I have the BOB Duallie Revolution.

All of these things have really been working for me as far as post pregnancy weight loss.
I also feel that breastfeeding has helped a TON.
A couple of my friends said that breastfeeding made them keep some of the pounds on, but it's been completely untrue for me.

I hope this helps anyone who's having some trouble getting the baby weight off!
I'd love to hear about what you're doing that's working for you!

And of course, I can't let you go without sharing some pics of my little family :-)

Seriously though....

I don't know what I'm gonna do with her...
 Or him...

Or those cheeks...

So in love...

Life With My Babies

It dawned on me today that if I were still in the Marine Corps, I'd be going back to work on Monday.
It's crazy that it's already been 6 weeks since I had a baby!
It's also crazy to me how different I feel about baby #2.
I love both my babies in ways that I could never describe in words, but motherhood has definitely been a different experience between the two.
I feel a lot more relaxed with Mattis than I did with Dannika.
I actually enjoy nursing him, and when he's screaming bloody murder, I don't get anxiety and freak out.
After my work out this morning, I needed to take a quick shower before we went about the rest of our day.
Of course, right before I jumped in the shower, baby woke up from his nap and was having a meltdown.
Four years ago, I probably would have skipped the shower, freaked out, called my hubby begging him to come home from work, and sat in my sweaty work out clothes all day.
But today, I jumped in the shower while baby was crying, cleaned myself up, and tended to him when I was all clean and relaxed.
Dannika was definitely my "guinea pig", and I am so thankful that she turned out to be the bright and beautiful little girl she is today (despite my shortcomings when it came to being a new parent).
She's LOVING being a big sister, and she is constantly asking to "pet" the baby on his head.
When he cries, she immediately tends to him like a miniature mama, and she is such a huge help around the house.
She's always "reminding" me to change his diaper, and always letting me know when she thinks he's hungry.
She brags to her friends in preschool and Sunday school about her baby brother, and how she is a big sister.
I thank the Lord everyday that he gave us our precious daughter first.

I have been working out everyday, and I can slowly but surely see the baby weight come off.
Yesterday, I put both kids in the BOB, and ran my daughter to preschool.
It came out to a total distance of 3.5 miles, and it was my longest run since giving birth.
I was pretty proud of myself considering I was pushing a gigantic double jogging stroller up and down hills.
I've been vigorously icing my knee and hip after every run, and it's been helping a little.
Happy "post run" face.

I put my Fall decor up.
It's really more for Dannika than me.
I want her to have good memories of different seasons and holidays when she gets older.
I think some of my favorite childhood memories are when my mom used to put up Christmas lights.

Baby Mattis is still sleeping a steady 4 hour stretch at night.
I'm hoping by the time he's 8 weeks, we can be at 6 hours?
A girl can wish, right?

And here is the Romer family's 2013 Christmas card photo....
Just kidding....maybe ;)
A friend pointed out that Mattis was thinking, "I can't believe I'm related to these people!"
hahaha!

Mondays, BOB strollers, and Babies

It's Monday, and I'm "happy, happy happy." (yes, that was a Duck Dynasty reference).
Why?
Because I just got a text from my hubby that he was on his way home from work early.
I got to spend the morning with these two cute little angels.

Oh, and I managed to get a nice morning run into my day, I spinned, and I lifted some weights.
I'm trying to lose all the baby weight before the Marine Corps Ball in November!
I'd say that's a pretty darn good Monday, if I do say so myself!
Anyone else own the double BOB jogging stroller?
After running for 4 years using a single, the transition to the double is a challenge!
The stroller itself is very light, has great shocks, and is very durable.
But running with it is a different story!
It's wide, and it's hard to slow it down when going down hill.
However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE BOB strollers.
I honestly think they are the absolute best jogging stroller for the running mama.
They're a little pricey, but they are worth EVERY penny (especially if you're putting tons of miles on it like our family does!).
Also, the one I have is the BOB Revolution SE Duallie (in case anyone is wondering).
I picked this one out of ALL of them because the front wheel can be locked and also unlocked to swivel.
I prefer running with a swivel wheel (for turns, etc), but my hubby prefers running with a locked front wheel, so this was the best fit for our family.
It's also the most versatile stroller.
Family photo sesh after a nice Sunday afternoon run.
Yes, my hubby pushed the stroller.
I refuse to push it when my husband is perfectly capable.
I also feel that it evens the playing field as far as athletic abilities go for the both of us, since I'm not in tip top running shape.

This little guy made his debut appearance at church on Sunday.
Church must have worn him out, because as soon as we got home, he wanted his shirt all unbuttoned and wanted to take a nap!
That's right little fella, let it all hang out.
I was relieved that we survived the entire service with no meltdown, and it wasn't till the very end of service when I needed to take him back to the "nursing moms" room to nurse him really quick.
Other than that, he was an angel, and quite a popular little guy with all the people who hadn't had the chance to meet him yet!

The rest of our Sunday afternoon was spent just lounging around.

Daddy even tried "baby wearing".
He agreed that the Moby was the greatest thing ever.
Nothing manlier than a man wearing a baby in a Moby wrap, right?

The Great Breastfeeding Debate (and other stuff)

Now that I have let the cat out of the bag, and everyone knows that I have a bun in the oven, I can start ranting and venting about topics on my blog that I have been holding back on.
Let's just get right to the point.

Since finding out I was prego again back in January, I've been noticing on my Facebook that EVERYONE seems to be pregnant.
My sister in law and I are actually pregnant together and due around the exact same time (talk about timing!).
Maybe it's like when you buy a new car, it seems like everyone is driving YOUR car.
There are also a lot of new mommies on my Facebook as well, and I am totally guilty of stalking each and every single one of their Facebook pages to scroll through the hundreds of photos that they post of their little ones.
I am obsessed with baby pics...OBSESSED!

Another thing I have been noticing is the amount of articles posted on my newsfeed from various mothers about the wonders of breastfeeding.
They irritate me like no other.

(just click on the link above)

After reading it, you'll realize why they irritate me so much.
And no, I am NOT against breastfeeding, and I COMPLETELY and 100% agree that breast is best for your child...no questions.

:-)

Rant over.

And just to end on a happy note...

My hubby and I had a much needed date night this past Saturday without the kiddo.
We were invited to a birthday party for one of the Navy guys that he works with..
We went to a Brazilian steakhouse called Fogo de Chao in Boston.
If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, I HIGHLY recommend you try it.
It's pricey, but well worth it with the amount of steak and quality of steak that you get.
If you're on the Atkins diet or low carb diet, this is the place for you!
If you're a vegetarian or a vegan, you'll probably go hungry here.
It's quite an experience as well.
When you first arrive, you are seated and treated to an all you can eat salad bar (and this is not your typical Sizzler steakhouse salad bar.)
The salad bar is stocked full of fresh salads, produce, toppings, smoked salmon, artichokes, cold cuts, etc., and it is ALL gourmet.
Afterwards, once you are seated to eat, you have a little disc at your place setting.
One side is red and other side is green.
Once you turn the disc to green, the "gauchos" (aka meat servers) start coming to your plate one by one with skewers of fresh off of an open fire (traditional Brazilian way of cooking meat) meat.
They slice the meat (based on how you like it cooked) right onto your plate.
Once you turn your disc back to red, they stop coming and give you a chance to eat in peace.
We had everything from filet mignon, sirloins, ribeyes, backstrap, chicken, chicken wings, meat wrapped in bacon, meat dusted with fresh parmesan, pork, etc.
Basically, I think I sampled just about every single portion of the cow that is edible.
It was fabulous, and definitely one of those "once in a while" restaurants.
There's no way we could afford to eat there all the time!
Nonetheless, it was delicious, and I am looking forward to checking it out again in the future!

One our way to the dorms of Boston University to drop off our little munchkin with one of Nick's most trusted midshipmen!

Just the two of us! It's been so long since we've been out without D!

I've Got a Secret to Tell...

I guess it's not a secret anymore!

SURPRISE!

We're due with Baby #2!

And my big blabber mouth has kept it a secret from social media since NEW YEARS!
It wasn't easy...
Lord knows I post my day to day life, rantings, and point of view on social media on a daily basis.
It was nice to have a little secret though within my family and close knit circle of friends.
I HAD to let a few close friends know just to get it off my chest, and some of them figured it out on their own (I guess that's why they're my friends).

So, here we go...on our journey in a new city, new coast, and new baby on the way!

I guess I should change the name of my blog since we'll no longer be a "Romer Family of 3".

Catch Up Time

Sorry I've been MIA for a while!
I know I'm pretty good about keeping up with my blog, but lately with the holidays and Nick's deployment coming up, things in our lives have been crazy hectic!
So to start, here's an update on our family...

On December 7, one of my bestest friends, Kim went into LABOR!
I was soooo honored to have been asked to be in the delivery room with her mom and her older sister.
Kim's husband, Sunny is currently deployed to Afghanistan with 2/4 and unfortunately couldn't be home for the birth of their 3rd son!
She was scheduled to be induced on December 12, but babies are so unpredictable!
She found out on Wednesday that they were going to induce her THAT DAY!
I was so excited, I drove like a maniac to make it to the hospital on time!
I can't even imagine what a fathers go through when they get the unexpected news....
My heart was racing and my mind was all over the place....
"We're going to have a baby!"
The coolest thing was Sunny's timing in calling Kim on her cell phone RIGHT as she was about to start pushing.
It's like the stars lined up and God was really looking out for Kim
Sunny got to hear the ENTIRE birth (complete with play by play) on the phone all the way from Afghanistan!
Let me tell you, experiencing a birth from the other end was the most amazing thing I have ever been a part of!
It was absolutely beautiful, and it made me appreciate being a woman even more than I already do!
I just couldn't believe what our bodies were capable of, and I couldn't imagine that I had just done that 2 1/2 short years ago!
So in the early evening of December 7, 2011, Logan Joseph was born weighing in at an astonishing 9lbs and 9 ozs and measured 20 1/2 inches long!

He is absolutely the most beautiful baby!
Thank you, Kim for letting me be a part of Logan's entrance to the world! It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!
So in the recent months, I've been in total denial about needing glasses.
I kept giving myself excuses like "Oh, I'm just really tired so my vision is blurry."
Recently, I started experiencing serious eye strain when trying to see things far away and mild headaches from straining to see so hard.
I finally got a wake up call at work when I realized everyone that I worked with could read this sign on the wall at the other end of the room and I couldn't even make out a single letter.
So I caved in and made an appointment at Lenscrafters and found out I am nearsighted and have slight astigmatism.
So here I am with my new Tiffany & Co. spectacles :-)

I was certain that Dannika would cry this year when we went to go get pictures with Santa.
We all remember her Easter Bunny pics...

So the past few weeks, I've been "preparing" her for Santa.
I showed her lots of pictures of him, and everytime we went to the mall, I'd tell her to wave to Santa.
I was certain that all this "preparing" wouldn't work, but it was worth a shot!
Well....
Here
Are
The
Results...

She was a little shy, but warmed up to him quickly.
SUCCESS!!!!

Hope everyone is doing swell!
Until next time!!!
