I love Jesus Christ.
I am a Marine Wife to a man I don't deserve. I am a mother to two beautiful kids that I can't believe are mine. I am a former Marine who has served our amazing country for 10 honorable years. I am a Fightin' Texas Aggie {class of 2017}. I am a childhood sexual assault survivor. I am an eating disorder "overcomer". I have fallen from grace more times than I am willing to admit.
I am the world's "okayest" stay at home mom and Marine wife. I like to pretend I am way more domestic than I actually am. I actually would rather pay someone to do something than do it myself. I like to channel my inner Joanna Gaines, but end up falling just a tiny bit lot short every single time. I instastory more than I blog (@semperagblog). But when I do decide to spill my guts on my little corner of the internet, I like to write about our life as a military family, the challenges we face, the good things we experience, and everything in between. Sometimes I'm serious, sometimes I'm not. Sometimes I just share posts with nothing but photos taken in poor lighting from my iPhone, and other times, I share a posts with something deep, meaningful, spiritual, or vulnerable.
I hope my little space here is a place where other military families can come read about our hot mess of a life, and find comfort in knowing that we are all in this together.
